Cancellation Policy

1. Purpose & Scope: This Policy governs the provision of in-person detained-visit services (“Services”) to other law firms (“Client Firms”) through USCvisas.com/detainedvisit (“Platform”). Services allow Client Firms to subcontract Ortiz Law for attorney visits at South Florida detention facilities. (Korme, BTC, Everglades) 2. Definitions: Client Firm: Licensed attorney/law firm using the Platform. Detainee: Individual in immigration detention. Facilities: Krome, BTC, Everglades. Visit Request: Request submitted through the Platform. In-Person Visit: Attorney-client visit of up to one hour. 3. Eligibility & Verification: Users must be licensed attorneys or authorized staff; credentials may be required. Client Firms must provide accurate detainee information. Ortiz Law is not responsible for locating detainees. 4. Service Description: Ortiz Law conducts in-person visits every Wednesday at Krome, BTC, and Everglades, subject to facility policies. Approval is not guaranteed; if the facility denies a visit, 50% of the fee is refunded. We will notify Client Firms of scheduling updates. Client Firms must provide all visit materials at least 24 hours before the visit. 5. Fees & Payment: Payment is 100% upfront. Refunds: 50% if the facility does not approve the visit or the detainee is relocated before the visit; 100% if canceled/rescheduled more than 24 hours before Wednesday at 6:00 a.m. We do not guarantee a specific visit time; visits occur Wednesday morning or afternoon. 6. Confidentiality: All information is treated as confidential. We do not access privileged communications beyond what is necessary to facilitate the visit. 7. Limitations: We do not guarantee visit approval and are not responsible for facility decisions or cancellations. Ortiz Law does not represent detainees unless separately retained. Client Firms remain responsible for ethical compliance. 8. Termination: Either party may terminate in writing. We may refuse or suspend service for misuse, false information, or Policy violations. 9. Liability & Indemnification: Liability is limited to direct damages up to the fees paid for the relevant request. Client Firms agree to indemnify Ortiz Law for claims arising from misuse, rule violations, or ethical breaches. 10. Compliance: Both parties must comply with applicable laws, facility rules, and professional conduct standards. 11. Changes: Ortiz Law may modify this Policy at any time. 12. Contact: Info@USCVisas.com
